Post-gaming insomnia

Its a bitch. Its half past midnight here and all I currently want to do is play games, mainly WoW. Lying here updating my blog multiple times in a row is gonna get real boring, real quick...

Yeah it's boring.

Postcard from Azeroth

Boy, have I wasted some time lately. My WoW playing has got more... "Frequent". I'll tell you the story of the gist of my adventures in the land of elves, trolls and target prac-Gnomes. I started of as a troll hunter (Pun intended) got myself up to about 43 before my friend made me move to alliance. I made a night elf druid and did my usual thing of starting questing somewhere then buggering of elsewhere part way through. At about level 20 something, me and my friend formed our guild, SubZero. We levelled together till I overtook and reached 55. That was two days ago. Two days ago I also bought Wrath and Cataclysm, so in my usual trend I made a Worgen Death Knight and left my druid to stay in Stormwind for a few months before I decide to level her to 85. So yesterday I reached 58 and headed through the dark portal into Outland with a few goals in mind. First was to reach 60 and get flying and a flying mount, then get the licence to fly in Azeroth. Secondly, reach 70 and move to northrend. Thirdly, find drake, get drake, fly drake, be happy and awesome looking. So today I accomplished my first goal after sending all 320 gold from druid to DK then money grubbing and farming cloth to sell on the Auction house for a few hours. Achievement get!

Tensions are rising...

So I've taken up procrastination as my new hobby. Why? Because I have absolutely nothing else to f**king do! I am starting to get really pissed off. All the games I've bought, not allowed to play them. The game I've spent £40 on for me and my friend, wasted. I've been told I'm also banned from using the internet to communicate. Sorry mom, but I REALLY don't give a flying fuck. I am so bored that I froze a bottle of water and drank it, all in 3 hours.
Anyway, Scar signing off.

Commence blog update!

So big things first, meaning I have to start with my pen-*is shot*. Jokes aside, quite a lot of stuff has gone down.
1. I began playing WoW. Don't worry... I don't pull all nighters and I still go out.
2. I finished most of my exams. Most of them were easier than expected but some were tough little bastards.
3. My mom banned me from all technology. Apparently I spend all my time on the PC which is a load of bull but oh well. I only just got my phone back...
And that's pretty much it. I really want my PC back but it can wait I guess...

Pointless subjects

So my school is forcing us to take RE and Citizenship GCSE's. Because that's fair and useful. After year 5 RE becomes obsolete and citizen shouldn't be taken as a GCSE considering it won't help as a qualification. So while I could be revising for said subjects I'm updating my blog and solving a sudoku. Oh and on the off chance someone actually reads this, follow me on twitter AshPemb.

Exams exams everywhere but not a spot to rest

I'm having exams thrown at me left right and centre this week with work experience next week. Through all this I still decided to build the biggest thing I've ever seen in minecraft. I'll post pictures once its done.

Aw'right you ugly mugs, to battle!

Sorry, been playing TF2. But it got me thinking, what is this major fascination with war? Most new video games are about war, lots of music coming out is about war as well as books, tv shows and movies. My question is; why are we enthralled with such a horrible subject and why do we decide to recreate the worst times in history? Does it not encourage younger generations to fight in wars and risk their lives for frivolous arguments? Or maybe that's what its all about. Maybe It's simply propaganda aimed to entice the pigs to the slaughter. But I digress, I do play my fair share of such games, listen to such music and watch such movies. It's turned into the norm for modern society, but does that not make us uncivilised the fact we enjoy the subject of war?
